The Breakdown - Super 100 Seniors

The Breakdown recently published their huge book with a pre-season analysis of High School teams statewide. They also have a list of some of the top seniors & juniors to watch in the State with a short blurb about each as well as many Q & A's with players. Very informative book if you are interested in High School hockey.

Pretty good list of players. I am a little surprised that there aren't more Seniors from the State Champion Breck team. Overall though it is a decent list.

I would put senior defenseman Chase Loken from Eden Prairie into this discussion also

Agreed on both comments. Loken is a good player and there are several Breck players who could easily move up onto the list. As it is, the list has more than 100 so you can see where it is tough to narrow it down.

I also like the fact that they go out of their way to find solid players outstate rather than focusing only on the metro area. Many of those players go unnoticed because they play in smaller towns and it is nice to see someone try to recognize these players too.

Apple Valley's - Chris Fischer is focused he's driven to goal, he closes the deal out there.
Benilde-St. Margaret Jacob Meyers - really nice kid - awesome goalie
Blaine Nick Bjugstad F - what can you say. greatest shot out there
Bloomington Jefferson Caleb Herbert F - always plays hard
Cretin Derham Hall Mark Alt D - Athlete through and through
Eastview Ryan O'Shea G - very talented
Forest Lake Dan Fick D - again, very talented

Perron From Cretin and Faust from Hill-Murray. Perron is all over the ice and makes great passes. Faust has great speed and is a great scorer.
