Stillwater vs Minnetonka

Hopefully this will put to rest all the preseason hype on the Stillwater team. They have beaten 3 average-to-below average teams so far all year. They will finish in the middle of a down conference this year & will be seeded no higher than 4th in a top heavy section. They are not well coached and have never won anything. The offseason dreaming is over & reality has settled in. Stillwater is average!

Its funny how a Hill-Murray guy can talk about down conferences. St. Thomas and Mahtomedi are the only teams worthy of being called competition in the Classic Suburban this year. Tartan is not nearly as good as people make them up to be. Woodbury and Cretin are above average teams and if your talking about White Bear you guys barely squeaked by in the Schwan Cup. You know that when the Ponies want to play they are very tough to beat. Put them on a big stage and anything can happen.

I have to apologize for my previous post when I referred to Stillwater as "average". That was wrong & inaccurate. Fact is their record is now 4-7 which would make them a "below average" team. I'm sorry if I offended the truely average teams out there by including Stillwater in that group.

all i know is that come section time stillwater will be ready to go. Even if their record is 4-21 they will play hill and everyone knows that the stillwater kids absolutely hate hill and their kids. Hill acts like they are superior over the public kids but they will learn this year. PPG are you one of those kids who was hated as a youth player so had to go to hill to find friends
