Hastings Bantam "A" Tournament Results Jan. 8-10

Post by SouthHockeyFan »

Winner- Lakeville South-3, Hastings-0

3rd Place- North St. Paul-5, Redwing-1

Consolation- Owatonna-3, Spring Lake Park-2

Toilet Bowl- Monticello-3, St. Paul Saints-2

Lakeville South Returns with two back to back champion wins. South just recently won the Midwest Regional Holiday Tournament in a 5-4 (0T) win over Apple Valley. South won the tournament as a 9th seeded team. That just shows you how much heart this team has.

Not exactly a strong field in the Hastings tournament. I'd give you a horn to toot but you're already tooting yours.

What number are you?

Looking at all the teams in the tournament, NSP was supposed to be pretty good. They took Jefferson into overtime a month ago and lost. South beat NSP 7-1 in the semi's and went on and shout out Hastings 3-0. South is doing what all teams should be doing at this time…getting better!

Watched South play in Hastings past weekend. Although competition was weak South looked good. They shut out a very good Hastings team. Well coached team with a great power play.
