They will get a few decent wins on the season, but they won't be able to keep it going.
They don't play a particularly difficult schedule, so they need to get the wins.
But when you neutralize and upset against WBL with a loss to a very young, weak Roseville team. I think they have potential to upset some of the teams on their schedule, but they won't make it out of a section with Tartan, HM, WBL, Stillwater ETC...

I agree. I have watched a few SEC games this year. A lot of parity. Obviously Woodbury, Cretin, and WBL are the teams to beat. Forest Lake looks good, Park looks good, and MV will win its share of SEC games this year. Like most SEC teams MV seems to have two decent lines. Not very big or physical. A couple of kids can really bring it. Good goal tending and solid defense is helping. Not giving up a lot of goals or good shots. Forecheck seems really conservative.

well from what i have seen,,they still have a chance to pick up some more wins however all three parts of the team need to put in some more effort ( skating - goal tending & coaching ) lack of focus and determination is the cause of the inconsistency in this team. i think they will go .500 down the stretch. if they can put everything together by Feb. they may surprise someone.
From the looks of it the goaltending has been pretty solid for the most part. I think they have done pretty good with what they got. You take the top goal scorer off the team that last year averaged a goal a game and they are still right there. Lets see how this week goes and maybe they can pull off 2 wins

well as it looks tonight the STANGS R DONE they have nothing WHO CARES if the goal-tending is doing OK if they cannot score against a SUB-PAR team in the conference. tonites game just showed that all the team has is (EMOTION) White bear meant everything ,,, Park is just another game. Thus if the team isn't EMOTIONAL they are THEMSELVES a bit less than average!!!!!!
