Stars Road Trip

Post by HShockeywatcher »

Last night Holy Angels beat the undefeated RI school Mt St Charles 9-2 and tonight play the 5-2-1 MA school Catholic Memorial located in Boston. Nice to see a MN school represent us well. Anyone out there or know anything about these schools to comment on what a 9-2 win means for an above average MN team?

It means HS hockey rules in MN. The Mt. St. Charles team is a "dominant" east coast program.

I was supposed to go with the team this year, but something came up and I was unable to go.
I spoke with Ron the bus driver for the STARS this morning and he said that the arena was filled and by the time the STARS were up by 4 -2 the fans were cheering for both teams. He said that MSC came out and took it to the STARS early, but AHA came storming back with Joe Labate getting a hat trick in the first. Tommy Burke was good in nets and Trebil got his back up in the game also late in the third.

I will have an update from Boston tomorrow and hopefully another win by AHA.

Saw an update on the game against Boston Memorial. AHA lost 4 - 2, but I need a call from out east to verify this.
Will know more tomorrow.
