Blake is a top 10 Class A team, you know.starmvp wrote:Wow, expected a little more scoring out of Tonka. A win's a win though...blueblood wrote:tonka - 6
blake - 1
it was 2-1 with just under 9 minutes to play. blake played well for 2 1/2 periods, before tonka took over scoring 4 goals in a 6 minute span.

And Tonka is the top team in the real class. Suprised at only 6 from them.schwang17 wrote:Blake is a top 10 Class A team, you know.starmvp wrote:Wow, expected a little more scoring out of Tonka. A win's a win though...blueblood wrote:tonka - 6

Re: tonka vs. blake
Wow, every year a ton of people complain about teams running up the score and padding stats (multiple threads on boys and girls boards this year) but when one ranked team beats another ranked team by 5 goals it's not enough. If they had beaten Blake by 15 the same people would say that was poor sportmanshipHockeyMN1 wrote:And Tonka is the top team in the real class. Perhaps there should be a formula that when Team A ranked "x" plays Team B ranked "y" at location "z" the score differential must be at least "delta" otherwise it'll be classified as an underperformance.

Run Up the Score?
Running up the score? Even if Tonka wanted to, they wouldn't have been able to run up the score. It was 2-1 with 8 minutes to play...

Re: Run Up the Score?
Wasn't my point, it was more about some people never being satisfied with anything as everything is either too hot or too cold or doesn't meet their expectations.Walter Sojack wrote:Running up the score?
