Updates are appreciated for those of us who are a little too far away to get channel 9...
WEBC decided the Central/Two Harbors game on Tuesday was worth broadcasting, but apparently not this one. Instead, I get "default programming."

Tied 1-1 after one period. Didn't catch the shots but were heavily in favor of East. Sound familiar, Karl?

Brazerol makes it 3-1 East with 4:30 left. Correction: It was Zac Schendel.

What the %$@$ ??????
Same old, same old.
Last year East outshot Denfeld 27-14 over the first two periods and the game was scoreless. East broke out for 2 in the 3rd; final shots were 45-15.
Yep, this is the East hockey we know so well.

And the Hounds win it 3-1. Too close for too long. Thompson played another very nice game in goal for Denfeld.

Poor Howie Hanson; he thought this was going to be the year Denfeld broke through.
I don't think anyone is going to accuse this year's Hounds team of running up the score.
Oh well, on to some important section games next week.

Seeing as he wears clothing with his name on it, he shouldn't be too hard to identify if you ever bump into him.

Lee, another player mixup on the goal.
It was Senior D Troy Olson, Rand's whipping boy, that scored the GWG on a pp in the third period last night. It was so great to see him score the goal after all - then Rand sat him for the rest of the 3rd period. W T F !

Although it was 1-1 for a time, the game was never close. Denfeld had one, count it ONE shot on goal in each of the 2nd and 3rd periods, for a total of 6 overall, one of which was a bouncing clear attempt. Now the talk about East's offense and shot is something else, but the D played very well.
Go Hounds.
