tonka
gardiner played a handful of shifts.
He scored the first goal on the pp.
He played a shorthanded shift and assisted on holl's first goal
Saw a few more shifts on PP in first
Once the game was decided in the second, he saw limited action.
Not sure if he even saw the ice in the third...

Here's the facts...Spooge wrote:I didn't see the game, but can anyone confirm if Gardiner might have contributed on 2 or more of Tonka's goals.HockeyMN1 wrote:Yea...you said Tonka 4-1 if he plays, 2-1 if he doesn't.Spooge wrote:Ummm, maybe read the next sentence.

Gardiner means more than just the stats he puts up as when he plays it opens up his linemates (Coatta & Frawley) and allows Shutt to move back to center the 2nd line and then they can skate with pretty much any first line in the state.
With Armstrong up next I expect Gardiner to skate little as they shouldn't need him so that's another week to get up to full speed.

Thank you, my thoughts exactly but I didn't communicate it as well.
