You forgot to mention that 12 of the 40 shots came on a 4 min. (4:15 to be exact...the clock guy forgot to start the clock one time towards the end of the pp) Eagan power play which they never scored on. Oh by the way…the Lakeville goalie played "GREAT".

both teams were very focused, worked every single shift. Only 3 penalties for each team. Goals came when each team took advantage of breaks and they pounced.

More penalties could have been called but the refs let them play. I thought both goalies played good as well probably facing around 30 shots each.

South played a very good team. They moved the puck as good as anyone. I believe Wb is #2 in state. South has not played anyone that high this season yet. Not to take anything any from Wb, but South played okay. I hope South has a chance to play Wb again. It would be fun. It was a good eye opener for South.
D3 hosted a big tilt last night between OMG and Wayzata. Based on what I have seen this year these two teams are pretty evenly matched. Looking for a score and report on the game if anyone happened to catch it.
