It could be an interesting game if these two happen to meet in the quarterfinals of 4AA.

White Bear holds on and wins 6-5. MV should thank the White Bear coach for letting the Mustangs keep in the game. WB coach uses the same guys to kill penalties and every time they get scored on. Try someone one else!!!!! WB coach, It is okay if other players succeed besides your favorites!!! talk about banging your head against a wall when you can walk around it.

Ummm, a PeeWee Herman wannabe???
It was exactly what I intended!

Good catch.

As for the game, the score doesn't reflect the game too well.

WBL dominated most of the game, and Moundsview's goals were mostly off opportunities handed to them.

PPG's and turnovers game closer than it should have been, and MV scored their final goal with 1.7 left on the clock, on a 6 on 4 advantage.
How can you say that MV's chances were handed to them? WBL had 4 of their 6 goals on PP. 5 on 5 hockey it was 2-2. Both teams took advantage of the power play.

True, I meant more like WBL took some pretty bad penalties.
Always celly hard.

Was there any defense or just bad goaltending

Well I'd chalk it up to good offense to be honest.
Just a good showing of both teams offensive skills, no soft goals just some unstoppable ones.

MV had a pretty crazy redirect. Someone took a wrist shot and it deflected off a blocking WBL player and went 5 hole on Schletty.
Always celly hard.

I wasn't impressed with either goalie. The MV goalie looked like a fish out of water most of the time. The kids got to get back on his skates instead of rolling around on the ice all of the time. WBL goalie let in a lot of long range shots. It was so bad, the wife got nervous on a clearing attempt that went on goal.
