Yeah, it was good. The Times better stick to these kinds of stories and more of them if they hope to keep readers. This kind of stuff gets local people reading. The stories on Poganski and the Sauk Rapids kid both pursuing their dreams were good, as well.
I hardly ever read the national stuff they do in the Times. ESPN and others do it much better -- even the bankrupt Strib. I want to see local stuff in the local paper and more of it.
How about following up on some of the other area kids that are doing well at other levels -- Matt C. from Cathedral and Johnny S. from Tech etc. These kids are still playing D1 etc. Swanson was in the ECHL All Star game. There are plenty of stories out there.
