That's how they've looked all year. This year's student section doesn't have the usual spirit that we've seen in years past. In fact, it's almost always under 20 students, from what I've seen.wbmd wrote:The White Bear crowd looks extremely extinct tonight.
Wish I would have known this was being broadcasted earlier, would have watched.

I like how white bears jv team can keep up with flake and when WBL is up 5-2 they cant play there 4th line... i think its sager should be ashamed after how kids like (sam, jonny, jack) step up when sager needs them most and then wont let them touch the ice when the have a 3 goal lead... WBL won 5-4 not impresive...

Hey we've got the BEARS line, along with our other loyal fans (ahem.)got some wrote:That's how they've looked all year. We had a big turn out tonight, but everyone needs to understand that the SEC (WBL ESPECIALLY) has been making an effort to clean up student sections. They aren't taking it lightly either! All signs/props/flags, positive or negative are being taken away with no questions asked. The SEC has put in quite a few brand new rules in effect this year.
As for the game, Bears dominated mostly and got lazy at the end.
If it weren't for the ridiculous amount of penalties the Bears took, it probably would have looked a little different.
Always celly hard.

Looked to me like da Bears goalie just had a better game. The play seemed pretty close, maybe even favored FL a little bit.wblhockeyfan8 wrote:Hey we've got the BEARS line, along with our other loyal fans (ahem.)got some wrote:That's how they've looked all year. WBL controlled the 5 on 5 play really well, Way to many dumb penalties cost them a 5-2 lead late in the game.MrBoDangles wrote:Looked to me like da Bears goalie just had a better game. Maybe they didn't, but it seemed like FL had more shots the first two periods...formerlybackofnet wrote:WBL controlled the 5 on 5 play really well, Way to many dumb penalties cost them a 5-2 lead late in the game.MrBoDangles wrote:Looked to me like da Bears goalie just had a better game. Re: ...
I think he learned his lesson in the MV game on Saturday. With a three goal lead, the 4th line got a shift at the 10 minute mark of the third period. At the end of their shift, MV scored. Then in the next shift, Wahlin had a terrible turnover and MV scorred again. What was a comfortable 3 goal lead, became a nerve racking 1 goal lead. I don't think he wanted that to happen again. It caused hair loss.Rock_N_RevivaL wrote:I like how white bears jv team can keep up with flake and when WBL is up 5-2 they cant play there 4th line... i think its sager should be ashamed after how kids like (sam, jonny, jack) step up when sager needs them most and then wont let them touch the ice when the have a 3 goal lead... One of the six was an empty netter, not quite the same as the goalie giving up six goals. Plus White Bear scored on a penalty shot for their second goal.BodyShots wrote:So, how does ones foot taste when it is firmly placed in ones mouth.wbmd wrote:I have to agree with gophs16 about Forest Lake not giving up six goals.gophs16 wrote: No way does WBL score 6. Five goals allowed by White Bear doesn't say much about their goaltending and defense either.
The point is, CaptainJimmy predicted the Bears would score 6 goals and you and Gophs16 were saying there was NO WAY Flake would give up six goals. Well, the final score was WBL 6. I would say he was right on in that department. Congrats Captain, for predicting the WBL output. I'm sure you figured in the Penalty Shot and EN into your prediction.wbmd wrote:One of the six was an empty netter, not quite the same as the goalie giving up six goals. Maybe the 4th line should be re-valuated with some other players that performed during the Varsity's break. I heard there were a few others that really played well. Possibly a couple of defense also.BodyShots wrote:I think he learned his lesson in the MV game on Saturday. With a three goal lead, the 4th line got a shift at the 10 minute mark of the third period.
