Brainerd Roseau game

Post by Skip_per »

Most of Roseaus shots are from power plays, but so far Brainerd has shut them down. Great plays by Mimmack and good defense by the Warriors.

Announcer said that this is the first time that Brainerd has ever beaten Roseau. Is that true?

Guess not. First time in 24 years, rather.

That's awesome. That's a lock for top 2 seed for Brainerd. #1 if they beat Moorhead. #1 seed has a HUGE advantage in this section.

Would you put Brainerd up there as one of the most underrated team in the state?

To be the most underrated team you'd first have to be an underrated team. All they have proven is that they can go 1-1 with a barely top 15 Class team, get shut out while given up 6 goals to a mediocre, way below average, barely above .500 Moorhead team, while beating 8 AA teams in their 17 wins and all of 1 quality, and by quality I mean a team who is in just on any top 25 list because of reputation or lack of bad losses not quality wins, team just tonight and win 17 games with the 66th best schedule in the state.

In my humble opinion, even if they make it to state winning the next 9 games, which would put them on a 22 game winning streak, they won't be ranked, and shouldn't be. While it's not their fault, they have not played anyone, nor will they by the time state comes around.

Personally, I hope they beat Eagan 7 hours after the Cadets beat the Hawks, but as of now they have proven very little.

I don't really care about Brainerd or who comes out of section 8aa this year...I would like to know though: Who is your most underrated team??

Roseaus there reputation? Are u kidding me half of the metro teams that are ranked are all running on reputation! Just because Jefferson or apple valley have been good in the past, and because osseos in the metro doesn't mean they deserve to be up there, and don't even get me started on benilde or centennial!!! Who decides the strentgh of schedule? All u metro folks think ur schedules are so tough cause u play eastview, chaska, the lakeville teams (both highly overated).... And u think since those teams are from the met there good when they are brutally awful and no player on those four teams would deserve to where a brainerd sweater
