Can the Pioneers rebound from a home loss to the Cadets and go to play Tartan in Oakdale to secure up the conference title?

Tartan's chance of a conference title are gone, but they can dethrone the Pioneers and keep their hopes of 3rd place alive.

Watchie......... I don't know if Tartan has enough offense to beat H-M.... The first meeting was a 3-0 H-M win. On the other hand, Tartan just scored 5 goals vs SSP and against D1 recruit Adam Wilcox, and the injury to H-M's Becker and if Sampair is out for his in-game suspension, depth could become an issue for H-M.

I have been waiting for Tartan's Alex Gierke to steal a BIG game in nets... Acting as the spoiler, I think Gierke will hold H-M to two goals.....will that be good enough for a win?.. I think H-M 2-1.

I believe Sampair will be back for this game, his game suspension was served against STA yesterday, although correct me if I'm wrong. In any case, the injury to Becker is a big one, as he was a key center and role player. Even with the injury factored in, Hill is still way to deep for Tartan to handle.

4-1 Hill

Yeah... I should clarify that I am predicting Gierke to have a huge game.. But, you are dead on fan893, if Gierke is just his normal good self, it will be 5-1 H-M MINIMUM, because of the depth, and the way I would expect H-M to respond after the STA loss.

If HM is still down from their loss and Tartan can take advantage of average goaltending they could do it.

They probably won't...

HM 3 Tartan 0

From what I hear, it will be about a week for him to return. This may not be his first concussion, so obviously caution will be used. He should be good to go for sections.
