Orono 2, Minnetonka 0
Eden Prairie 3, OMG 0
So, the seed order is looking like (assuming Wayzata got a FPP tonight and will get one tomorrow against Hopkins, but even if Wayzata wins both games, they can't equal Mtka in points):
1. Eden Prairie
2. Edina
3. Orono
4. Minnetonka
5. Wayzata
6. Apple Valley
7. Chaska
8. OMG
9-12. Some combination of Bloomington, Prior Lake, Burnsville, Hopkins
Does anybody know the tie break system being used?
Edit: Answered in reply below (thanks!)

Does anybody know the tie break system being used? This was the only thing I found on the D3 website:
From the D3 website:
League Playoff Rules
Team Participation
A. The purpose of the League Playoffs is to determine which teams will advance to the Minnesota Hockey Regional Tournaments. Teams are seeded in the League Playoffs according to their final league standings.
B. In case of a tie for any position in the final league standings, League Playoff seeding will be determined by applying the criteria found in the Minnesota Hockey Handbook, page 29, P Fair Play, #5.
From the Minnesota Hockey Handbook, page 29, P Fair Play, #5:
5. In the event of a tie between two or more teams in the final league standings, the following process shall be used to determine position in the standings. When the tie involves two teams, the tie breaking formulas shall be used in succession until the tie is broken beginning with 5.a. When the tie involves three or more teams, their position in the standings shall be determined by the following tie-breakingprocess. If one formula establishes a position for one or more teams, each team is placed in the applicable position. Once a team is placed, the remaining tied teams shall start the tie-breaking process again at formula 5.a. a. Head to head competition among tied teams including Fair Play points. b. Most wins in league play. c. Fewest losses in league play d. Most Fair Play points earned in league play e. Largest goal differential among tied teams. (six max. per game) f. Greatest quotient; goals for divided by goals against among tied teams. g. Largest goal differential for all league play. (six max. per game) h. Greatest quotient; goals for divided by goals against for all league play. i. Flip of a coin by a league official in the presence of the District Director.

We won't know about seeds 9 through 12 until we get the results of tonight's game of Wayzata vs. Hopkins. If Hopkins wins (or ties), they can grab the 9 seed, it appears.
Based on what I know right now:
1. EP (48 pts/16 games)
2. Edina (44 pts/16 games) [assumes FPP)
3. Orono (36 pts/16 games) [assumes they got the FPP, beat Minnetonka H2H for tiebreak)
4. Minnetonka (36 pts/16 games) [assumes FPP]
5. Wayzata (31 pts/15 games) [assumes FPP, still plays Hopkins tonight]
6. Apple Valley (29 pts/16 games)
7. Chaska (28 pts/16 games)
8. OMG (26 pts/16 games)
9-12. TBD
Prior Lake (24 pts/16 games) [assumes FPP]
Bloomington (24 pts/16 games) [tied with the pack]
Burnsville (24 pts/16 games) [assumes FPP, which may not be good assumption after 24 penalty min against OMG]
Hopkins (23 pts/15 games) [has a chance to go to #9 tonight w/ win or tie vs. Wayzata, can't get #8 because of fewer league wins than OMG, despite H2H tie]

One interesting problem occurs with the tie-breaker procedure above because the combined D3/6 has an unbalanced schedule. Teams that have played more games against the tied teams have more of an opportunity to get more points.
For H2H against the tied teams (assumes all FPP awarded):
Burnsville: vs. Prior Lake (1-1-0), vs. Bloomington (0-0-1), vs. Hopkins (1-0-1) = (2-1-2) = 6 + 5 FPP = 11
Hopkins: vs. Burnsville (0-1-1), vs. Prior Lake (1-0-1), vs. Bloomington (1-0-0) = (2-1-2) = 6 + 5 FPP = 11
Prior Lake: vs. Burnsville (1-1-0), vs. Bloomington (0-1-0), vs. Hopkins (0-1-1) = (1-3-1) = 3 + 5 FPP = 8
Bloomington: vs. Burnsville (0-0-1), vs. Prior Lake (1-0-0), vs. Hopkins (0-1-0) = (1-1-1) = 3 + 3 FPP = 6
So, based on this, Bloomington appears to have a lock on the 12 seed, if Hopkins loses to Wayzata.
For H2H against the tied teams (assumes all FPP awarded):
Burnsville: vs. Prior Lake (1-1-0), vs. Bloomington (0-0-1), vs. Hopkins (1-0-1) = (2-1-2) = 6 + 5 FPP = 11
Hopkins: vs. Burnsville (0-1-1), vs. Prior Lake (1-0-1), vs. Bloomington (1-0-0) = (2-1-2) = 6 + 5 FPP = 11
Prior Lake: vs. Burnsville (1-1-0), vs. Bloomington (0-1-0), vs. Hopkins (0-1-1) = (1-3-1) = 3 + 5 FPP = 8
Bloomington: vs. Burnsville (0-0-1), vs. Prior Lake (1-0-0), vs. Hopkins (0-1-0) = (1-1-1) = 3 + 3 FPP = 6
So, based on this, Bloomington appears to have a lock on the 12 seed, if Hopkins loses to Wayzata.

Wayzata 6, Hopkins 0
I've been informed from a fellow forum contributor that tiebreaker option A does not apply when there are more than 2 teams tied. If this is the case, the tiebreakers would be determined by league wins and losses. So, seeds 9 through 12 should be:
9. Prior Lake (3 wins, 9 losses)
10. Burnsville (3 wins, 10 losses)
11. Bloomington (3 wins, 11 losses)
12. Hopkins (2 wins, 10 losses)

D3/6 playoffs
Our team manager was informed by the D3 folks that the bottom 4 seeds would fall in this order:
9. Burnsville
10. Hopkins
11. Bloomington
12. Prior Lake/Savage
I am speculating, but it appears that they got around the unbalanced schedule problem by converting the points earned among the tied teams into percentages. Using drop_the_puck's point calculations, Burnsville and Hopkins each had 73% (11/15), Bloomington had 67% (6/9) and Prior Lake earned 53% (8/15).
