Burnsville vs. Elk River

both teams pretty much dominated in past games. Should be a good one
I pick elk river 5-2. Would be a good game to watch
Actual score was burnsville won 3 to 1
2 ships for burnsville, good for them......were you at game ER is usually such a solid performing team on most aspects.
Yes I was. ER took the lead one to zero after one, then burnsville scored in the second to tie it up. It was 1-1 going into the third and burnville scored on the powerplay. After that burnsville scored again on the pp and ER couldnt come back. Great game

Burnsville Vs Green

Post by skillbuilder »

17,
Burnsville 5 Green 3.
Playing Burnsville in the District playoffs could be hazardous to your health after they beat Elk River on Sunday and Green two days later...

Burnsville 5 Edina Green 3.

A VERY good hockey game. Both teams skated hard and play with skill and intensity. Burnsville got two goals early which I think set the tone. Edina was forced to play catch up the whole game. Burnsville's goalie made the saves he needed to and they got a nice win on the 'road.'

Burnsville is having a good week, but still a lot of hockey left. Should be some good hockey to be played @ dakotah for playoffs, as all teams I have seen have been getting better.

Shakopee 3
Edina Green 3

Great game Edina scored first but shakopee never let up. Shakopee out shot them 29-25. There were many penalities not called by the refs on Edina but shakopee kept there cool. There was no OT because the game clock ended before the third period ended.

Edina Green - 4
Jefferson - 0

Closer game than the score shows. Edina outplayed them for the whole game, but wasn't able to break the 1-0 lead with about 5 minutes left. Jefferson seemed to let up then, but both teams were getting chippy near the end, but most of the players handled it well.

I don't think Edina outplayed us. We kept good control of the puck and got plenty of chances. Edina owned the neutral zone and moved the puck really well though. You also left out the two "missed" calls by the refs that ended up in two Edina goals and a loss of all momentum.

I like the pride and enthusiasm for the Jags and I think you do have a very good team.....

But the last 3 D6 games you have been outscored 13-1 and in the last 5 D6 games you have a 0-5 record - The refs can't be screwing up every game for you...or maybe they are..??

Honestly the last 4 games I agree with you the refs have been great. We were lacking intensity, focus, and some locker room issues. Those have been resolved and we fixed the problems. The only game I think the refs screwed us over was the Edina Green game.

Yes, the Jags are on a recent slide. If you look though, other than the edina green and EP game, basically all are one goal games. dont count this team out, they can be dangerous if they figure out how to put the puck into the net.

We also fixed the lines back to what they used to be. We changed them up for some reason right before the home stretch. Every player from the top line was playing for a different one. Should see if the chemistry and scoring comes back against Chaska. Then hopefully against Burnsville (that should be a good game).

Scrimmage, nice back and forth game Very evenly match teams, would have liked to seen a full three 15 minute period game.

Chaska-6
Jefferson-5 O.T

Chaska was the cheapest team I've ever seen. The whole team was a bunch of scum bags. They had kids from the Bantm A team watching the game, and some of them called Jefferson moms the b-word, and after the game they caled the jefferson goalie a seive. I hope chaska gets DESTROYED there next two games.
