Ms. Goalie 2010 Poll

Post by joehockey »

So who do you think will win the award this year? I listed in () players who have committed please post if others have made decisions. Goalies sometimes commit late and it is a small demand year about half of the normal spots.

For Ms. Hockey 10 of 10 Selected are committed to D1.

Good luck to all a great group!

Cease and desist. Polls naming individual players should be taken off the forum. These awards are not popularity contests. Voting on a forum is. Happy to have discussion about the positive merits of players nominated. Its an honor to be chosen. This type of polling takes away from the honor.

Tend to think people like you vote and make comments based on what they know not who they like - so look at the team's records and the individual's accomplishments and share your vote .....or not.

Most of the time these polls turn out to be a popularity contest,
they do not dictate who will win the award just who has the biggest fan base.
they are all good goalies and are deserving along with a few others I am sure. I have seen several of these girls play and they all have there strengths. Good luck girls!

I think that's great to see and reminds me of an article I saw yesterday (from the NY Times):
