6 OVERTIMES!!!
Gotta love high school hockey playoffs time.. Bemidji and St Cloud Tech went 6 ot's last night in a barn burner! I am hoping we see some more classic overtime, do or die games like this with this years playoffs!
Good luck to all teams! And may we see lots of overtime thrillers!

St. Cloud Tech - Bemidji
Tech 3-2, 123 minutes, shots 61-58 Tech, including 34-28 in the OT. Anybody out there that can describe the winner by Ryan Heaton? What time did the game end? Looks like the 1st OT is 5 minutes, then they are each 15 minutes after that.

Why weren't the O.T.'s the normal 8 minutes, clear the ice, 17 minutes, 8 minutes, clear the ice, 17 minutes, etc.?stpaul wrote:Tech 3-2, 123 minutes, shots 61-58 Tech, including 34-28 in the OT. Wow. 123:00 would be a new MSHSL record. The old one being Champlin Park vs. Coon Rapids in 2000 which went 115:00.stpaul wrote:Tech 3-2, 123 minutes, shots 61-58 Tech, including 34-28 in the OT. Actually, it was 111 min 58 seconds. Don't know where mnhockeyhub got that info...DubCHAGuy wrote:Wow. 123:00 would be a new MSHSL record. Regulation is 51 minutes, first OT 5, then 15 minutes each after that.
51 + 5 + (15x4) + 2:58 = 118:58
Game was 118 minutes and 58 seconds, assuming the poster was correct.
no97, where is the discrepancy? The article says almost 112 minutes, so I would assume you are right.
