#7 Northfield @ #2 Lourdes 2-25
The Lourdes have been real hot lately and a lot say "screwed" of a 1 seed. Northfield did win the regular season matchup at home 3-0 can they pull it off again?

This was a great game from start to finish. scoreless tie through 2 periods and Lourdes takes the 1-0 lead with 9 minutes left. And Northfield kept grinding away and never gave up. They tied the game with 2 minutes left to play. But Lourdes right back regaining the lead on a goal with a whole lot of bodies and scrambling and bouncing off the puck with 40 seconds left. And it ended with the Raiders hitting the post with 7 seconds.
Congratulations to Lourdes on moving on, but i think that the Raiders came ready to play and foucsed and gave Lourdes all they could handle. The Nothfield boys left it all out there on the ice working their bags off all night. They should be proud of their effort.
Congrats to Lourdes on the victory and good luck the rest of the way, pulling for you guys to represent us in St. Paul

Northfields goaltender also played exceptionally well, made a lot of saves to keep his team in the game.PoNd HocKey ChAmP67 wrote:This was a great game from start to finish. scoreless tie through 2 periods and Lourdes takes the 1-0 lead with 9 minutes left.
