Hoping for a Hibbing win and a good game. Would be nice for a Marshall loss against Virginia just for the fact it would guarantee a northern public school in the tourney.

No doubt. Kind of suprising how the cities kids pull for the public teams from the North at the state tourney. Used to be the North schools against the City teams. Now it's public against private.

After Hibbing's close call with Eveleth, Falls takes this one.

this game will be a great game and i think it will come to the last few minutes of the 3rd if not in ot. Hibbing needs to get good goaltending out of tromp and their defense can not lose it for them johnson and bugliosi will bring their offense. Falls needs their big players to control the game if not Hibbing will win.

If Hibbing comes to play Hibbing by 2 with empty netter. If they come out like they did with Eveleth, falls by 3 or more. Hate to say it since i am a bluejacket fan but you have to show up to play EVERY game whether the team you are playing is good or not.

Go Bluejackets!

Just like last year everyone talking up how Falls is going to win. I will say Hibbing did not play good at all last night! However, they know this game is win or season will be over. Hibbing will come to play and they will win.

Go BLUEJACKETS, pull through and bring the city to the DECC!

Even if they do make the DECC (Which they won't) they are just gonna choke like they have the past two years

Yes and also beat them 16-0, so it really doesnt matter.

I do agree with you on your statement. Even though this game isn't the final, I think the winner of this game will take the section. Falls and Hibbing have much better tournament experience and actual tournament wins. I would take to see 7A go far as it seems most other sections don't seem to think or expect 7A to really do much as a competitor this year.

Hibbing wins at IRA, bottom line! 6 years in a row and every year their the underdog. I think the small rink plays to some of their strengths.

Hibbing Keys:
1. Defense,Defense,Defense
2. Eliminate Neutral Ice and D-Zone Turnovers
3. Control Corrin
They do these 3 and the game is theirs.

Falls Keys:
1. Goaltending
2. Control Bugliosi,Johnson,DeCenzo line
3. Get the puck to your go to guy- Willie Corrin

Should be an exciting game. Of course I'm pulling for the boys in this contest. Hibbing led 2-0 after 1 period in their last meeting. If they would've played the 2nd and 3rd like the 1st they probably would've won by two or three. Today they put an entire game together and come out on top.

I will take Hibbing by one, they always seem to find a way to get to the DECC.
