Bemidji State's new arena will be another good neutral site option in the future for Section 8.

It makes the most sense to play it there, but most things in life don't make sense. Being a Spud fan that lives in the Twin Cities that has to work on Wednesday, playing the game in St. Cloud would work out great for me. I have made the trip many times, but the Moorhead Hockey site still has no update as to the location of the game.

Should be a great game where ever it is played.
Yes it was announced this morning on TRF Radio by The arena's manager.

That's what I was saying, I'm pretty sure it has happened quite a few times.

I think it really comes down to which team is ready to make a run at state.....both teams have played well during the year. But which team will show up? This is the big ice Olympic 100x200 if Im not mistaken. I think Roseau has outplayed Moorhead in the past, maybe not winning every matchup, but using the rinks size to their advantage. I think this will be close and will come down to who blinks last, who spends less time in the box and the goaltending. I will of course take the SPUDS 5-3 with an empty net to seal the deal. As for how they do in St. Paul well it wont be fun to watch, unless you hate the Spuds, but thats what I said last year and look what they did.

I think the Spuds have another team worthy of a runner-up at state.

Moorhead is used to playing top 10 ranked teams. It doesn't give them a great record, but it sure as heck gets them ready for this time of the year. Roso will be easy compared to the teams moorheads used to facing.

After 2 periods

Rams 2
Spuds 1

Pair of power play goals in the 2nd.
Kostrzewski for Roseau at 5:12
Larson for Moorhead at 5:58

Second period was much more evenly played, should be a great final period.
