Just getting back to the computer after a tough Saturday game. Kyle Rau is the goods. Congratulations. EP looks like a repeat champion.

I think I will move to Lakeville

Rau

Post by blueblood »

Rau is the real deal. Way better than some of the recruits "THE DON" has signed/penciled in for next season that play against tier III talent (guess who?).

He is by far and away the best junior in MN and the leading MR. Hockey candidate for next season

His older brother went to CC. I wouldn't be surprised if that happens again...

Fill us in since it is your opinion.

No doubt Rau is a very good prospect but I'm not sure why you bring up any players for the U's 2010 class since Rau isn't eligible to come in for college next fall anyway.

And you call yourself the the gopher blogger? You know exactly who I'm talking about. :-k

Yes, Rau can't play next season, but he is eligible the following year with some of the supposed "top talent" that THE DON has signed this season but not expected to play until the 2011-12 year.

I might have to change my name to maroonblood

I'm sure all wcha teams are very interested in Kyle. He can pretty much pick where he wants to play. My guess is Denver. Would love to see him stick around, he's the best I've seen this year.

If he goes to Colorado he's going to CC.

It is your opinion. I might not agree with it. Maybe I will. Either way, I am asking to hear your opinion a little more clearly.

I'm not entirely sure why you dance around it if you feel so strongly about it.

I'm not going to disrespect the kids for having a dream come true to play for the maroon & gold by calling them out.

As a U grad and season ticket holder for 25+ years, I will rip on THE DON for his poor recruiting in the last few years, his mishandling of the Guentzel affair and losing to HOLY F'in CROSS!.

UNACCEPTABLE Mr. Maturi.

Move to Lakeville.

Post by Lakeviewing »

Move to Lakeville, with the break up of the Lake. Both Lakeville teams will have a pretty good chance to get out the Lake conference play. The State Tournament section seedings need to get more metro teams in this section, so we don't have to watch a Rochester team competing in the State tournament, unless they can beat some of these more talented metro teams.

Riley Twins

Post by Lakeviewing »

Yes, the Riley kids have a commitments to the U of M. Two really smaller players, but talented. These kids have commited to the U of M. Maybe the start of non NHL talent, but very good college hockey talent playing for the U of M to this program to the Final Four. Bottom line most of the recent commits to tje U of M are probably four year players and not like the two year skaters, one and to their NHAL farm progam.

Okay Curtiscurve, where are you coming from. I have seen these kids since mites. They didn't get Holy Angels above Edina. Holy Angels plays at a lower level in the Missota Conference. Holy Angels needs to step out and play the top teams in the metro. Holy Angels will always be a fouth seed in Section 2 just because their schedule.
