Congrats to Hill Murray...... It was total domination after two periods. I like their chances to get to the semi-finals.

Yeah. Coaches submit seeds Sunday morning, so we should know by noon or so what the matchups are.
The State Tournament starts Wednesday with Class A quarterfinal action. Exact pairings will be determined after the coaches seed the teams Saturday morning.

No problem, it is different I thought I remembered it being Sunday last year and for just about all sports. But hey can't complain about knowing another extra day in advance!

I'm really surprised by Lakeville North right now. I watched both teams this year and never thought they would pull this one out.

I'm really surprised by Lakeville North right now. I watched both teams this year and never thought they would pull this one out.

North is a different team right now..they are playing their best hockey....they lost early in the year to Century, and beat them with ease in the semis..and now with South, they are avenging their losses. The soph goalie is stealing the show tonight down in Rochester

With North playing their best hockey, and a hot goalie...Im not saying I expect them to win a game at state..but if they can avoid Tonka or Edina...I think they could give the other teams a game.
