Most adults think you look nice in your uniforms. The point is no one should be spitting on anyone. That is dumb and if you did it, you deserve a black eye. I guess the part of the St. Thomas guys suppsedly being a classy unit missed some of you. That is pathetic.

Enough with the junk talk.... As a proud STA homer I can say we trained hard all year, played hard and lost the big game that mattered... Now we wait until next year. End of story... Good luck to the Zephs... they are a good team with a lot of heart!

I still think Venelly brothers should be let go! What a bunch of jerks! Did they go out and skate herbies after the game againts the Zephyrs? No they just sat against the boards and cried!

I could be wrong, but aren't they who has taken this program from a 4 win program to .500 the next year to state the following year?

So, they lost a couple games. Big deal. Everyone knows who the best teams are, losing one game doesn't take away from the accomplishment. It was a good season.

Yes, many things St Thomas fans do are very dumb and embarrassing. It is tough to attend games sometimes, I'll be honest.

A team lost, move on. No one has started threads trash talking Eden Prairie, Wayzata or any other good teams who didn't make it to state. People like SE16 make themselves look very ignorant. Just move on.

Good luck to all 16 teams who made the greatest state tournament in the country. Have a good week.

You are right. HM was the best team in STA's conference (champion) and Mahtomedi was the best team in STA's section (champion). I'll give ya that STA is the best team in Mendota Heights (sorry Sibley).

I was at the game, congrats to mahtomedi, they played very well and their goalie was tremendous, to bad his actions after the game to the Saint Thomas student section was classless and embarassing.

equal to any celly that a goal scorer pulls off..i was sitting right at the top where he did a simple shhhhhhhhhhh with a finger over the mouth is not classless and embarrassing, after that performance i give the kid props. I was sitting right by STA student section and it was unbelievable what they were yelling at that kid, now thats classless and embarrassing. Also, STA student section was spitting on the maht celebrating, yes i said it SPITTING, that is awful i hope their athletics director is embarrassed and does something about it.

good for wohlers to do that. that student section was completely classless and didn't know how to control themselves after they lost AGAIN to the Zephs in the Section final game.

The coaches names are Vannelli.... Tom was one of the greatest Gopher hockey players EVER..... I can't judge him as a coach.
