My question would be about goalies we typically don't think about. The goalies on the top teams in the state are probably half-way decent. But, just like you can be a good forward or defenseman on a bad team, the same goes for goalies:
a. Who are the good goalies that don't win because their team is terrible?
b. Who are the goalies that took a below average team to be average or above average by being on the team?

Not impressed with Amendolar... 85% save percentage, regardless of team or your schedule is not very good..... has been good in sections tho

Heimer is good, had an injury that bugged him and kept him out for a while.. Rochester has some good tenders, kautz is good and JM's KIng is also very good.

AARON DAVIS.. with a 95% sv%... OUTSTANDING.. and especially since he plays for mound westonka who is awful and relies on davis to steal them a tie night in and night out. i think he got snubbed for senior goalie of the year... tho Gothberg is also very very good... and will be drafted fairly high in the upcoming nhl draft..

others who are pretty good tenders

Reid Mimmack- Brainerd
Zak Swenson-HUTCH
Mike Ness- woodbury
Meyers- BSM
Shaughnessy is pretty good- HM

OBVIOUSLY many others.......

lyon from LOW is 5th in the state for saves with 808 out of 879 shots with a .919 save %. he makes that team average

followthepuck.com has a good breakdown of goalie statistics by section, year in school, class and overall. These are not necessarily the "best" goalies in each category, just listing statistics. Sorry, I don't know how to cut and paste a link.

I imagine you think the top 2 scorers in the state are also the best hockey players in the state.

So what your saying is that Burgau (New Ulm), Heimer (Lourdes), Lindgren (Lake. North) and Gretz (Apple Valley) are ALL better than Meyers (BSM), Fons (Hopkins), Gothberg (TRF), Wilcox (SSP), Mimmick (Brainerd) and Davis (Mound)....????????

You obviously know nothing about goaltending buddy
