Please bring back Wcco ! At least they put some hard work into it. Not the same features over and over and over again ! But looks like were stuck with 45 for a long long time ! Too bad !

I get sick of the repetitive commercials. Just seen Filet-o-Fish for the first time a few minutes ago. I'll have that song stuck in my head.

No.. that's Clay Matvidork that has called him Ben Nelson and Brandon Marshall.... Clay must play alot of fantasy football..

The one thing I am kinda surprised about is how Phil doesn't talk about how Ben plays like Phil did back in HS... Could basically do whatever he wanted with the puck.......the way he controls the PP, his vision, his puck handling skills.... Housleyesque...
Doesn'ta Clay work with ESPNU?
Yeah... Clay used to work for FSN many years ago, and then had a falling out.. I want to say Anthony LaPanta replaced Clay... I could be wrong.. Clay has a very good play-by-play voice, and just makes the technical mistakes, as it is hard to catch uniform numbers. After all, in the NFL, they have a spotter with binoculars in the booth to verify tacklers, etc.

But you don't screw up Ben Marshall's name - EVER!!

Btw .. just because you are blonde and can hold a mic, doesn't mean you should be the on-ice reporter.

This Just in- Minnesota Hockey Rubes do not like the job done by Housley. MNSHSL forks out $200,000 for Doc Emrick to come in for the weekend!

LMAO!

C'mon give Housley a break. He's actually gotten alot better since the first session. Maybe it's because he's tired and not talking as much, or he's reading his annual Minnhock review...

My favorite of the day came when Warroads Brett Hebel took a slap shot and scored. Housley commentated with this gem. "how many times have we seen Hebel score on one timers like this in this tournament."
Its Warroads first game of the tourny, it was Hebels first slap shot attempt, so I'm guessing the answer was only once.

How many did he score last year?

I do supose that is what he meant, but with his history its hard to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I think you have to at least give Clay a break; he has to know the numbers and names of 16 teams. That's about 320 players!

But Housley just flat out sucks. I think I could do better, I know some people on this board could!

I suppose it's easy to ridicule a guy doing a job like that. I know I wouldn't want to try it. I like having a guy with Housley's insight and experience in the booth myself.
