Krause will win this one yet today.
Dude creates a lot of opportunities.
Never thought I'd see Breck get out-chanced like this.
Hermantown is very good.

Is mulefarm serious? This has been going on for like 20 years.

Quick whistle on that disallowed Hermantown goal. :x

There's the way Breck plays,
and then there's the way Warroad plays,
and Hermantown is a combo of both.
Well-rounded squad.

One of the cheesiest goals I have ever seen, not to mention it was the game winner of the State Championship game. Hermantown played very well today but fell one goal short. Breck wins, 2-1.

Back to back for Breck.
Congrats. Now take it up a class where you belong, please.

Not gonna happen, at least this year when they graduate 12 seniors.

I am rewinding the DVR... on the clearing attempt that killed the clock, the Hermantown defender BARELY touched the puck to nullify the icing call... Man.... I know it's a reaction, and unfortunate, but about :05 would have been left for one more faceoff..

Gotta feel bad for Hermantown. I thought they deserved to win and then to lose on such a fluke goal.

Agreed. Hermantown was the better team today and they played very well defensively - as they always do. They pulled a Duluth Marshall state championship game; outplay the other team but still lose. It's sad for them but they did better than anyone of us would have thought from the north.

Hermantown DID make the North proud. You guys played an awesome game. I unlucky bounce was unfortunate, but hold your heads high!

Exactly and this does show that the North can compete with the Cities. This is always a fear in the North. 2007 was a good year for us, but since then, it had looked like the Cities had the premier teams. Today shows the whole state that the North is good enough to play with the TC.

Russell has really had a couple magnificent goaltending performances in the last two finals. That really low shot from the point with under a minute left and made the glove save look easy. He was the difference, again. Congratulations!

Yes, the north can play with the cities. Both Roseau and Warroad proved that. Too bad some of these city teams have 50....60....70...players to choose/recruit from.

BoDangles7 wrote:Breck has the least class of any team in minnesota. They are all a bunch of cocky rich kids that think they are invincible. I know this because i have played against them. Hermantown will win this game. Oh and to #20 on breck. Nice pass dude, i wish i could give passes to the other team in my high slot as good as you can. #3 skates like an idiot too. And #4 needs to get his S*** tossed.

Wow. Issues.

We lost to HT in a very good game! I was so impressed with the fans and HT team until today! We were trying to cheer our team to a 3rd place victory when your classless fans invaded our section and started cheering for Warroad and not having any respect walking down the isles making it diffucult for us to see our team. After you beat us in a very great game I spoke with a HT fan aftert the game and I said I really hope you guys beat Breck, but after the game today I prayed that Breck would beat you and they did thank God. You should be ashamed how rude your fans were. I looked over at the opposing side and did not see ONE breck fan looking for a seat. They have class as you all do not. So go home in your flannel shirts and enjoy your loss you bunch of classless fans! And that 300 pound guy that got kicked out with his 7-8 year old kid I hope he goes to jail for being such a jerk!!!!

hey get PLEASE BAN ME, seriously bud ur fans took over the whole damn arena, and not to mention #14 for your team was a whinny little bitch, every time he got touched he would look at the ref and cry and whine, i sat in the suites today and watched both games and to be blunt he was a whiny little girl who should have gotten a penalty when he jumped off the bench to yell at a warroad kid and at the ref, grow the **** up, the fans wanted their spot to sit and was supporting the north, oh yeah one more thing found it funny that your fans were in the designated area for the hermantown band, glad to see the north do well

as for the h-town game h-town continues to show why they can be considered the greatest show on ice even when they are the underdogs they will out play the other team, flukey goal what can you do when the players do everything right to prevent it and they get lucky, oh well
