Well it clearly wasn't his best game, I don't think we need a whole thread dedicated to that fact.....it's one thing if it was brought up in a thread about the game, that would be understandable. But to put his name in capital letters as the topic, and clearly just to put him down and talk about what a bad game he had is a little much. Especially considering some of the people commenting only saw him play that one game. Obviously if he has committed to a D1 school as a junior, he is doing something right and has a lot of talent. Talking about pulling his scholarship because of one game is laughable and insulting not only to him but to the hockey program at St. Cloud.

nothing was meant by that topic. he is what the seventh leading scorer in class A. and going D1. Anyone that is going D1 and signed as a junior is going to be watched closely. Some may say he lead his team to state, but that was not started by a range person, someone who heard about him and probably expected more. I've seen him play for a few years now[/quote]
It may have been started by someone not from the range, but you and your other Hibbing buddies, among others, jumped on that band wagon pretty fast to put him down.

NICK BJUGSTAD for instance suppose to be the best in minnesota and number one draft pick and was mr.hockey and coming to the u next year didnt have his 2 best games either as the bengals went two and out. it happens people! Obviously they both are good and perform but sometimes things dont go your way! both good players and looking forward to see them play in their future!
THUNDERHAWKS HOCKEY
I think critiquing players and teams and what they bring to their teams is fine, but when I read some of these thread about Benik, I wonder how old some of these people typing are.
Most people here aren't trying to rip on high school players, but once they get in an argument, it is no longer about the player and more about the argument and opinions.

Your kidding right?? Seriously?? Where would we start, we would need a whole new forum for this one.
And by the way, stateofhockey1824 said it, I just agreed. Its funny what people remember.
