Best Yet To Come?
This year there was a very strong group of seniors. But does anyone think that the class of 2013 could be the strongest in a while. They have a lot of talent already as freshman. Hudson Facshing, Grant Besse, Alex Funk, Max Coata to name a few.

A couple of them already got offers to go USNDPT and two others have sent in applications at Shattuck.mulefarm wrote:What if they accelerate? It really could weaken that group? Speaking of SSM, they have a few talented freshmen in Ian McCoshen, Taylor Cammaretta, and Willie Raskob.ACTUALFORMERPLAYER wrote:A couple of them already got offers to go USNDPT and two others have sent in applications at Shattuck.mulefarm wrote:What if they accelerate? According to the Shattuck statistics site, those three in particular are having phenomenal seasons. Would've been fun to see them play high school, but they're are definitely well on their way.

I'm not sure if you guys know of him but Thief River Falls has a freshman by the name of Chris Forney. I was told that he is Michael Forney's little brother and that he is even better than Michael was. The older Forney was a heck of a player. TRF has something to be excited about for the next few years.

I thought he played bantam all year?[/quote]
As did others on Star's list, I think he means up and coming '13 graduates, even if they haven't played high-school yet. Guentzel falls into the same category, I believe he played at Woodbury Bantam A this year.

Obviously a thread started by Freshmen dads. Geez! Give the kids some time and quit trying to get the PR train rolling now. It's a marathon - give it a rest. A lot can change in 3 years and many other kids will hit the radar. Good luck to the boys - definitely a skilled bunch but the hype has to stop!russiawithlove wrote:who cares-that is 3 years from now. Write about a topic worth while.

Gross was a stud at OMG, even though he looked disinterested at times...hockeyfan893 wrote:As did others on Star's list, I think he means up and coming '13 graduates, even if they haven't played high-school yet. Re: HM
Played Bantam A for Woodbury. They won state this year and no joke the kid had somewhere around 200 points. Not exaggerating. He will be at Hill next year.stpaul wrote:Is the Guentzel kid at Hill-Murray?

Guentzel is a great player, no question, but he really needs to hit a growth spurt soon or he will have trouble at the next level.Just_Another_Fan wrote:Played Bantam A for Woodbury.
