Gangstee we just came out in my opinion overly excited and ended up trying to do to much at the start and ended up in a deep hole that we couldnt get out of.. its a bummer becasue we know there not a 5 goal better team (probibly more like a 1 goal better team) but they kicked our butts all props to them they earned it and are a great hockey team. But as Lakevilles first year back in JGA we will be pushing for consulation which would be a sucess in my mind .
keep an eye on 1st and most importantly 19!! shadow him all day
also watch out for 7 and 18
if you guys can control those three u will win
what are our chances against grand rapids??

Good Luck.Bragenrights wrote:Gangstee we just came out in my opinion overly excited and ended up trying to do to much at the start and ended up in a deep hole that we couldnt get out of.. its a bummer becasue we know there not a 5 goal better team (probibly more like a 1 goal better team) but they kicked our butts all props to them they earned it and are a great hockey team. Braggen - tough night for you guys tonight. The first two times we played you, you played better. Looked a little tired, maybe too excited tonight. Congrats on a good run to state, and good luck in the consolation bracket. Welcome back to the A level, you guys deserve to be here.

Bragen - keep giving Gangstee advise, especially about playing defense! He looks a little rusty at the position don't you think? Did you see any of his lame attempts to break the puck out? Pucks were behind people, in their skates were no one could catch them
LaceEm - you guys came out on fire in second period and really took control of the game. Nice puck movement!
Bragen - the GR goalie played great against Wayzata. Shots were something like 48 to 12. He kept the game from becoming a total blow. It looked like GR was having trouble handling a hard and fast forecheck - they kept coughing the puck up. I see Lakeville winning 7 - 3 if Cheadder has the magic sauce working and comes out strong
There was a rumor running around the rink about the Elk River coaches getting fired by their board. Is it true? Where new bodies coaching in the Edina game?
Wayzata v. Burnsville will be a great game. The speed and finesse of Wayzata against the speed and finesse of Burnsville. Who’s going to blink first? Should come down to goal tending. Michael Larson will be in goal for Wayzata and he is the man. Coming into this tournament he had eight shut-out games and a ridiculously low goal against average. I was noticing some nice juicy rebounds by the Burnsville goalie that we want to drive down his throught.

I watched about 10 minutes of the GR vs ER game today. I find it very sad that the parents even swear at the other kids when they are winning by 5 goals. I mean come on Elk river have some class and win with class and lose with class. I think it is very uncalled for that the parents can not control themselves.

kane88 im gonna have to disagree with you i would rather go 2 and out on a team with respect for the game and a team that shows class while playing.
Consulation or even a state championship is not worth disrespecting the game which was displayed through ER fans, players, and coaches.
So yeah celebrate you consulation but what it comes down is we had a great year and dont have anything to regret because we played the game with class and respect that i think is fair to say you yourself didnt considering you got on here and insulted my team instead of celebrating what your team did.
