5 of the teams in the big show are from the west. Gold has dominated all year, just goes to show the west was a strong division and gold will take it all.

this was the most fun i have ever had playing. i know that gold felt the same way. i was talking to number 10 the whole game and i have alot of respect for those guys. good luck in the championship

ya pretty even game wayzata is sick burnsville was up 2 1 most of the game until an awkward bounce off the boards went in wayzatas favor. sweet game i didnt see the first goal of the game who scored first?

Wayzata scored first. Kind of a garbage goal just like all of them, burnsvilles goalie is phenomenal. Good luck to those guys in the third place game, that was a great rivalry.

dang so it was 1 0; 1 1; 2 2; 3 2? thats insane. ya well the boards in that rink are retarded they give off the worse unpredictable bounces, wayzatas second goal was just a bad bounce for burnsville the
D went for the reverse behind the net and the boards just gave off a weird bounce to wayzata. the OT was crazzy each team would get like 2 chances and then it went the other way and it was like that until wayzata but a puck through the 5 hole i think? it just trickeled in. Props to both teams somebody had to loose by far the best 2 teams and state the stands were crazzy! BTW it was a very clean game! hockey at its best.

The west was strong this year but Woodbury should be fine...hope the pendulum swings back next year?

My team thinks this year was great and the competition was great.
I would also liket say #14 from burnsville put up a total of 103pts in one season which is amazingn because the competition was so great this year.
This was a great way to end my senior year.

i still beleive that the true championship game was saturday bville and wayzata gold.
never got a chance to play woodbury but we played really well against wayzata all year i think we wouldve done well against woodbury

because everybody else on the forum thought so too. im sorry but that was the #1 and #2 teams in state and it was long decided the winner of that game would take it all. its the game that had the most skill and everbody knew it. thats why saturday's game was the true championship

Well when its printed in the record books it will read Wayzata Gold as the champs and Woodbury runner up. Then will be no mention of Burnsville

yeah everybody knows the Bville was the 2nd best team in state. you give GOLD their props for being 1st and when a team gives them a run in double OT and had a lead on them you give them their props too. we got a lot of respect for GOLD and we have a lot of respect for other goods teams but when it comes down to it everybody knows we deserve that title as #2 in state and we would have showed you up for it if we could have gotten the chance to play you and im pretty sure baker and the rest of the guys on gold along with everybody else in the state would agree with that too

you don't see the kids on the Wayzata JGA team b!tchin and moaning about getting third when they were clearly in the top two teams in state all year. Grow up, get over it, and be happy you got 3rd! There were plenty of teams that didn't make it to state and would have been overjoyed with just a chance to experience it. So take pride in what you accomplished this year and use it to drive your team to a title next year!
