Delano Tigers 2010-2011
With Heinonen coming back being one of the leading scorers in the state, they should have a pretty good squad. What do you think?

LOL, I don't know about you slapshot but I woke up this morning and the first thing that came to mind was "Delano Tigers, 2011 Class A champs"slapshot445 wrote:haha you are obviously on the team, or closely related to someone on the team. seriously though they would be lucky to make it to the section finals next year, not a very talented team. just big.

I am not on the team, nor am i relative of Mr. Heinonen. But with a player of his caliber, a team cannot be terrible by any means.slapshot445 wrote:haha you are obviously on the team, or closely related to someone on the team. seriously though they would be lucky to make it to the section finals next year, not a very talented team. just big.

I have to say, I know of a very talented player on a not very good team, and it is hard for one player to try to overcome not only the other team and the officials, but their own team too, hockey is truely a team sport!GaborikFan wrote:I am not on the team, nor am i relative of Mr. Heinonen. I wish Tyler the best, as I wish the player I know the best.

if tech has already made him an offer, he should take it. hope he is getting good advicefivehole628 wrote:He's got Wisco hot on his heels, and Mich. Delano is going to be below average, just like they are everywhere. Play too easy of a schedule and they take too many penalties because they all think they're top guns. Heinonen (Spelling?) is good but should have left that town in a heartbeat. He is not getting any better playing with a team like Delano.

Just like they are everywhere... Do you mean every year?MNHocker444 wrote:Delano is going to be below average, just like they are everywhere. Have you seen St. Francis play the last three years?[/quote]justaguess wrote:I am not on the team, nor am i relative of Mr. Heinonen. But with a player of his caliber, a team cannot be terrible by any means.
Well actually, Delano was beating St. Francis 3-0, 6 minutes into the game 3 years ago. But St. Francis decided to forfeit in the middle of the period and skated off the ice.
Shots at that point were something like 17-2?
I get where your coming from though.
