1998 Minnesota Icemen Roster
On its web site, the MINNESOTA Icemen tout the following philosophy:
"We believe that AAA hockey in the non-association hockey months compliments the commitment to MINNESOTA Hockey."
Revealingly, as of this season--three out-of-state players are included on the '98 MINNESOTA Icemen roster:
#3, Naperville, IL
#6, Cleveland, OH
#15, Cleveland, OH

You must be really bored. I followed the link you included. You have to click on each player's name to see where they are from. Besides, it's not like the Blades don't do the same thing, they just don't have the stones to post the name(s) of their out-of-state or out-of-country player(s) on their website.
LOL. If I were "Hockey Is A Choice" guy I really wouldn't lose any sleep over it.Road Rage wrote:You must be really bored. I followed the link you included. It's a compliment to Minnesota hockey. Play where the play is the best.....hockey_is_a_choice wrote:On its web site, the MINNESOTA Icemen tout the following philosophy:

So? What is your point? That the guy that used a bad homonym ironcially goes against his own philosophy? What do you expect.
Be kind. Rewind.

The 00' team has a couple of very good players, It will be interesting to see how they fill the team in. One of their parents told me they are about three deep right now then there is a big drop.buzzsaw wrote:Someones kid must have got cut from the team. Too bad, there are no gaurentees in AAA. Icemen have a tremendous 98 team and the 2000 squad will be very good. 99 is very slim

Wow someone seems bitter! I think it great that these team have gone out side to find talent its not like they are not holding try outs to fill there team with Minnesota players. If they are going to compete in the invite tournaments with the Blades and the Machine they will need to. After all we are the land of 10,000 AAA hockey teams now!Road Rage wrote:You must be really bored. I followed the link you included.
