You managed two dashes [hyphens] in that statement without getting even one into the correct position!

Apple Valley should be very strong next year, although I think they will have to battle with Eagan in sections...

As much as it may hurt some of us. Hill wins another one. [Go F.L.]

EP with 15-20 seniors should be solid. Returns just about everyone.

Woodbury also returned 16 seniors last year. Look how that turned out.

Did that last years Woodbury team win any peewee or bantam titles in the previous years?

That group of boys consistently went to state in whatever age group. I'm not saying they won't i'm just saying returning everyone also puts a lot of pressure on them to go to state. Just pointing something out that's all.

The difference is that Hill is pulling the best players from not so good programs. Kinda like an all star team. I like EP's Chances.

They have handled the pressure in their previous youth champianships, and comparing last years Woodbury team to next years EP team is like comparing the Yankees to the Royals.

Yeah, I get your drift. But comparing a Johnny-come-lately program like EP, to a storied program like WBL, is like comparing the San Jose Sharks to the Montreal Canadians.

Good stuff! Freddy is an EP guy - gotta go with the home town team but they should be a contender. HM too, much as I hate to admit it.

So because an association has been around since the beginning of time but can't win crap today is a good thing?

Remember, there will be 10 players on next years EP team that have already knocked HM out of a state High School hockey tournament.

Tough to go against Fred on this one, they lose only 3 seniors that played. They return the Rau's, Rath's, Molenaar, Seeler, Gerdes, hopefully Shavlik, plus two top goalies. Going to top be a very tough team to beat. They know how win, as they have proved in the past.

What can you say when you come from a section that will once again be the toughest in the state. Wayzata, Benilde, EP, Tonka........getting to state will be tough. It's not very tough to get to state when you get the top players from the teams you have to beat to get to state? I still like EP's chances.
