can a kid signed by NHL or college
Does that mean that they will not be coming back to play high school hockey. Or is it the players choice or teams.

Kids don't actually "sign" with colleges untill the fall/spring of their Sr Year at the soonest, which is a commitment for the next season (some cases get's pushed back). A player can be drafted by a NHL team and retain all eligibility at the HS level given he doesn't sign a nhl contract. Usually happens with late year birthdays like August, troy hesketh is an example.
