Richfield-Holy Angels co-op?

Post by brandy38 »

I heard from someone that Holy Angels approached Richfield about a co-op for the boys hockey team only to have Richfield's AD decline the offer. If this is true, I think it was a stupid move on the Richfield AD's part. I'm not always for co-op's but this would have been a great move for Richfield's competitiveness in hockey and its couple of decent players. The team already has one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel. I give this program one more year before it folds, and this co-op offer from Holy Angels may not be there this time next year.

No!

What was heard was, a co-op between AHA and Richfield GIRLS. Both of those teams lost their coaches, Richfield does not have enough girls to field a team and there are a few that can play. Now this is a boys topic so.....I have heard that Richfield boys talked with other schools about a co-op because their numbers are way down and it will be hard to field a team.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was hoping you would reply as I've noticed you have the most knowledge about both teams in Richfield.
