Goalies

Post by NoWhining »

Question: Does anyone track the path of good HS goalies? Thinking of last years stars like Jim Krueger and Jacob Meyers. Sure there are others. Anyone have information? Thanks

Funny you should mention those two netminders, they're on the same team...

Don't totally trust pointstreak stats. Fons could've had 50 shots and the book person was asleep. They should almost have stat sheets verified and signed by coaches (who check with their players) if they are going to post them on the Internet. Time and again you see assists or goals credited to the wrong people, bad shot counts, and even missing goalie switches in games.

Very possible that he had an off night. Also possible that statman screwed up.

Sorry, I'm not 'Fonzie' or one of his relatives. The Fonzie I knew 'jumped the shark' back in the late 70's:

More dramatic than a well executed two pad stack or a bar down snipe!

My point remains - be wary of any Internet stats as you don't have any consistency in the quality of people doing it.
