BSM Hockey

How do you think they will be this year? There are a lot of people putting them high upon their rankings list or not on it at all.

Should be a top 10 team, don't know if they'll have what it takes to make it to state but they have some very talented players and should do quite well and be able to hang with the top dogs this year.

goalie situation: between justin quale (former hopkins bantam goalie), anders jecha (backup to meyers last season), and issac melin (jv goalie)

the team has 6 elite league players if i am correct and will have one of the best 1st lines in the stata. after that though, i dont think they really have anything, they will definietely lack depth thats for sure

These guys should be able to play with anyone in the State and have the talent to win any game they are in. They should be a contender in a very tough section.

i honestly dont know how they are ranked this high, all they have is one line, they have no depth at all, they basically have 2 d and 4 forwards

Tryout Numbers

Post by F14 »

Just wondering, if you knew the TOTAL number of kids who tried out on Monday. I think last year was around 75?

Post if you know

I would disagree and say they have 3 good lines with 2 of them really good. The defense will be the strength of the team with Daly, Horton, Anderson, Pemberton, and Graham. The question mark with be in the nets. Jecha and Quale or Melin all have alot of talent with Quale being one of the top young goalies in the state. Top 6 forwards are as good as any Besse, Horn, Steinhauser, Moore, Labosky, O'borsky.

Hey former minnscout,

You must be scouting in a fish bowl. You're nuts. Your first post gives you no credibility.

I think their top six is solid, though i still see pemberton at Center of the 3rd line. Top 2 lines will be good, 3rd has the ability on paper to be solid defensively. Horton and Daly will get tons of ice, both are solid. Goaltending is a question with 3 untested...but if one of them sticks they could be a solid team. Still running 3/4 in the section though...
