2010-11 Best Site for Scores

Post by ghshockeyfan »

Seems that every couple years there are different websites for scores. I'm considering the site(s) that would be best to use for scores for the computerized KRACH rankings.

I know of a few that seem pretty complete, timely, and inclusive of the entire "state of hockey" (vs. just metro-biased):

1) http://www.MGHCA.com (i.e http://www.mngirlshockeyhub.com)
2) http://www.minnesota-scores.net (i.e. http://minnesota-scores.net/scoreboard. ... &sport=110)
3) mshsl.org (i.e. http://mshsl.org/mshsl/results.asp?actnum=460)

Are there any others? I know some of the conf. websites are good and couple years ago MaxPreps was decent when the Strib supported their effort but it appears that they aren't as up-to-date any more... ( http://www.maxpreps.com/state/girls-ice ... nesota.htm)

I would like to see people really push for all the teams to use one site. I like the Hockey Hub from the users side. Not sure how hard it is to update but I think it is the preferred one for our stats guy.

For just scores MinnesotaSportsOnline is still pretty good:

http://www.minnesotasportsonline.com/sp ... &sport=110

They do not have much beyond the basic scores, and they are slower in posting them than they were last year. But for each date all of the games and scores are presented on a single page which makes it easier to scan each day's results than the hockeyhub site.

Click on the white box on the home page, Today's Scores

I believe the coaches have agreed to use their MGHCA site and it is the best.

Thanks for the tip - I don't know how I could have missed this.

I agree, it has much more information than any one site has provided previously.
