Are we referring to the Lake of the past or the Classic Lake?watchdog wrote:you should just copy and paste that for the next time this topic comes up. same question and same answer year in and year out
You take Eden Prairie out of the Lake and replace Robinsdale Armstrong with the Eagles and the new Lake is definitely top, but to say the Classic Lake always was?
Yes, Eden Prairie, Jefferson, Apple Valley, Eagan (last year) and Burnsville are good, but to somehow say that a conference with over half the conference not being competitive as the top conference?
I think a lot of this thread depends on how you define a "top conference." If you exclude the top team, Missota is very competitive for 2nd place year in and year out, for example. I don't know how you can think that a conference with 5 teams is a "great conference." Or is the real intent "conference with the best teams?"
While I would say that the current Lake will probably have the best teams for a while, a close second would be Mariucci in my opinion.

I'm pretty sure these people are referring to the new Lake and old Classic Lake.
