Virginia defeated Spring Lake Park today 7-3.

The game had to me moved into the back arena in Virginia because the ice plant inside the Miner's Memorial Building froze up due to a power surge this morning. It was interesting to see the players take penalties and have to go and sit on a folding chair amongst the fans standing along the boards. (There is only two small sets of bleachers in this rink that seat maybe 40 people.)

Sounds like the ice will be out in the main arena for at least next week.
