Roseau A Squirts need two teams for tournament

Our A squirts are looking for two more teams to fill out a tournament, the weekend of Feb. 11-13th. There is a 4 game guarantee. Send our tournament director an email at smcfarlane@citizensros.com if interested and he will get back to you with details.

The bigger question is will Edina guarantee 4 games? It would be funny if teams would start forfeiting on them when they start to run up the score.

Actually, we would love to have Edina come up for our tournament. They bring a B squirt team up every year and have never been anything but gracious and have enjoyed their stay up here. We won't paint the entire program with a huge brush, because of one unfortunate incident.

Maybe the tourney director can even put the FIRE and Edina in the same pool, if Edina would go. Let's see who really has game!

We went this year (Edina Squirt B) and had a GREAT time. We were treated really well all round, with a free movie, a hearty home cooked meal at the Legion, and fair refs.

Roseau is still in need of 1 team to complete their upcoming tournament on Feb. 11-13th. Four guaranteed games, 17 minute periods, a free meal and fun weekend. The competition will be very good. If there is anybody out there that can make it work, give our tournament director an email.

I know our team would love to come up to Roseau like many others but ar this time of year most teams 35 game limit is accounted for with remaining district games and playoffs and tourneys.
