The 2010-11 regular season is quickly winding down, with just a few weeks to go. Here are the games for Week 10 of our season-long prognosticator contest. Post who you will think will win each game, and include the score. One point will be awarded for each correct winner, and an extra point will be added if you happen to guess the exact score. All girls hockey fans and forum members are welcome to participate! Entries for Week 10 must be posted by 6:00 pm on Tuesday, January 18th.

I think Roseville plays Hastings on Tuesday and not Roseau.

Looks like ron123 is right,according to hockey hub Roseville is at Hastings.

If the answer was "yes" then it would make sense to call OT in every game!

I have thought about giving an extra 1/2 point for correctly calling a game to end in a tie, only because playing the sudden death OT makes a tie a little less likely than one of the teams winning. Any comments one way or the other?

Gentle reminder: Just over three hours left to post your picks for this week's contest.

Of the 12 fearless prognosticators who have already posted, the vote totals indicate that 9 of the 11 games have a clear-cut favorite, with one team garnering at least 9 of 12 votes. We'll see how that works out!

The two games judged to be very much up in the air are East Grand Forks-Roseau (6-6) and Eastview-Lakeville North (7-5).

The winner this week will probably need to get at least one of these two right plus a correct score or two.

Lower scoring and a little closer than most expected. 12 of 14 thought Roseville would win, but once again nobody got the score right. Revised standings after Tuesday:

No score being reported yet for the Irondale-Chisago Lakes game. In tonight's other match-up, Minnetonka rolled over Centennial 7-0. All 14 contestants pick up the point, but once again no correct scores...the margin was two more than anyone predicted.
