I'm kind of surprised no one out there thinks the Ralph Engalstad Arena in Thief River Falls is up there.
As far as Bemidji's new rink I have only seen it once but I liked it alot, but you also have to keep in mind it was built for college hockey not highschool.

The Ralph in Thief River Falls is awesome! As for Bemidji's new complex, it impresses me but doesn't exceed my expectations by any means.
By far, Ridder. I don't think there is a close 2nd. Great ice (regulation sheet), great locker rooms, great benches, great lighting and great sightlines. Only negative is you have to pay to park. By the way no olympic size rink can be considered in this discussion, they all should be changed.

Does anyone remember the old Tonka rink before they replaced the roof? Terrible viewing but a really cool building. Throwing out the big college venues I sure like the new Heritage rink in Duluth. The grand old rinks on the range are tops when it comes to tradition. I lost to many times in Braemar to even consider listing it!
Almost 50 years old, Aldrich remains a great place to watch a game. Ramsey County keeps it up well. However the parking lot plowing job this year is not so good.
Haven't been in em all but for facility-only (tradition not considered) I doubt there's a nicer, more comfortable high school rink to watch a game than the Ralph in Thief River Falls.
Roseau Memorial. Followed closely by Braemar & Duluth Heritage. Also the rink down by Mystic Lake is pretty sweet. I forget the name, but i think the casino/res helped with it's funding.
Have to go with Roseau's Memorial. From the museum type atmosphere of the warming area, complete with trophies and pictures of all the greats who once laced them up for Roseau, to the arena area adorned with the many banners. I can't imagine a more historical place, with as rich of a hockey tradition.
