I was simply asking a question. I remember a couple years ago a tournament played 4 on 4 OTs to determine winners and they were "officially" ties because that wasn't MSHSL rules. I'm just curious if this will count with 57 minutes of regulation.

Conference Standing: No
Overall record for the year book: Probably.
Personally I think MSHSL should go to 20 minute periods. With a 25 game max it is an easy way of adding 225 minutes of game time (4 & 1/2 games worth) to the season. If I were a coach I would be all for getting the extra 9 minutes of competition against a team like Shattuck. They obviously scheduled this game for that reason, to play against the very best. That said, STA should have been informed well in advance if that isn't how it was originally planned.
