Put some temporary stands up around the rink...To be honest I just want somewhere remotely close to the cities. This outstate stuff is just too hard to get to.

As great as that sounds, let's get realistic. This isn't the Winter Classic, it's Minnesota High School Hockey. I doubt they will be making rinks on baseball fields for a one day thing. There are plenty of outdoor rinks to choose from. Aren't we the Land of 10,000 Lakes? (I think that's more than enough to choose from).crosscheck20 wrote:Right on the new Tonka baseball feild Tonka vs E.P. That would be one to remember.

Most high school baseball coaches I know would have a heart attack if anyone tried to build a rink on their field!starmvp wrote:The Best in the Bizz3 wrote:As great as that sounds, let's get realistic. It was the first one they did in 2007. It was hosted on Lake of the Woods. Roseau played Blaine I think. Maybe it was White Bear Lake but it was one of those two I'm pretty sure. I remember it was really windy and terribly cold. I was thinking of going ice fishing but thought it was too cold to sit in a house all day. Couldn't imagine playing a game out in that environment haha.PuckU126 wrote:Already done? Can't remember which one...wblhcky24 wrote:How bout Roseau or warroad

I don't remember which team won, except I know it was the one that was going with the wind for two periods.warriors41 wrote:It was the first one they did in 2007. It was hosted on Lake of the Woods. roseau and blaine actually played in 2008, but thats besides the point. i think it would be pretty sweet seeing a warroad roseau game! a great rivalry that would draw a big crowd. that would be a fun game to watch!warriors41 wrote:It was the first one they did in 2007.
