New Prague had two goals four seconds apart vs. Shakopee earlier this year, according to the score sheet posted on hockeyhub.

I remember an East game with goals 5 seconds apart a few years back, against Superior. The second was an ENG, though. (They scored the GWG with :06, then the ENG with :01.)

I believe the NHL record for the fastest two goals is 4 seconds. The record was set way back when and was only tied. Can't see anyone beating that record...

4 seconds will never be broken. Anybody at the Eagan game? 5 seconds!

Its possible, but HIGHLY unlikely. 4 on 4 with a empty net or w/e. There HAS to be a empty net for it to be broken!

Actually that record was beaten...in 2004, right here in the State of Hockey. Jim Dowd and Richard Park scored within three seconds of each other. That will probably never be beaten. I saw how fast it happened and don't see how it could happen faster unless the center finds a way to fire it straight off the draw with a good amount of power.

The record is actually 2 seconds, however scored by opposite teams.

never even thought of that two different teams. only tried to figure out fastest two by one team. anyway, like i said, firing it straight off the draw would be the only way to make it happen. just never realized that doug gilmour is a manchild and already did it forever ago.

Regardless if it is scored by the same team, same player or different team, different player; 2 goals in 2 seconds is unheard of!

I was at the game, the centerman won the ensuing faceoff after the first goal and skated 3 strides to the blueline and fired to the net, the goalie was totally unprepared and might have been screened from the defenseman..was fun to see.

That's awesome. Great way to take the wind from the sails of the other team....
