Best JGA Goalie

From the tonka tourney there was a hot WBL goalie that stopped about 45 shots from ep. he was probably the reason why it went to OT

Yeah after watching the EP vs. Edina game on Saturday I was really impresses by Ep's goalie Beaton, really high quality tendy in net. On the other hand, was disappointed by the performance of the Edina's goalie as he continuously pushed the net off.

tonka has easily the best goalies... in 10 games tonka has only 14 goals against.

Jack Bunce for burnsville. he has only let up 3 goals this year and has one shutout. only let in 2 goals against slp after facing almost 50 shots and 19 came in the second period

I didnt think he was good at all. In fact, that was the concensus in the stands with a few goalie evaluators in the stands. The lack of scoring ability for EP really hurt them. The WBL goalie was below average, and probably their backup. Don't know what game you were watching.

Edina Goalie

The edina goalie won 3-1 and faced more shots than the EP goalie. Your basis is the net was nocked off twice.

He is defiently their better goalie. I saw their next game against Duluth also. WBL barely beat them and he let in 2 pretty poor goals. I am not saying he is the best goalie but he definetly kept them in the game

dont know what game you were watching Mr. Recruiter..... The Duluth game, the other Wb goalie played..... not the same goalies. It's Junior Gold "A" no team i know of has a starter or a back up goalie  by goalie evaluators do you mean EP parents?? The same goalie also played against Lakeville and Wb was out shot again and won.... looks like a team that relies on there goalies to win the game for them! Im no Wb fan but no need talk down about a goalie who is better than your team goalies

Master Recruiter,
I am not sure which game you saw, but if you are talking about Friday night, rink B, WBL had a goalie on the ice who did a very nice job. 40+ saves happens very seldom at any level of youth hockey, especially against decent competition like EP.

Yes the Edina Goalie is very effective at getting a whistle when the pressure is beating down on his team. I am disappointed that the ref's do not call a delay penalty (if in fact that is a penalty that could be called)when it's only one net that seems to be coming loose.
Other netminders at JGA level that have been effective at this technique have been one of the Jefferson goalies and one of the Tonka goalies.

I don't know how anyone could be playing better than Stillwater's Jordan Kaufer. Another shut out tonight and he played fantastic.

3-0 over Centennial.

I second theWEST.
#6 is by far the most athletic player on the team- and he will let you know it. He also has flawless teeth

It's been a few weeks now since anyone has given these goalies some attention. Who's holding strong and who's wearing down?
When Hell freezes over, I'll play hockey there too.

Stillwaters #24 is very good
Wayzatas bigger goalie with all white pads is very good (played for blake i think)
I think tonkas better goalie is the little one with the gray helmet is solid

Edinas #1 is pretty weak but #33 is a very solid tender

i really dont think either of tonkas goalies are even good! they just have a team in front of them that doesn't let the opponent get quality shots or breakaways on them " cough cough" WBL and Centennial.

Well you have to be good to play at an A level. With good defense it does help though. Giving a team 25 low percentage shots is better then 10 2 on 1's.
