Agreed. Comprehensive coverage of MN hockey is a requirement.PuckU126 wrote:We have a mutual feeling, SPUD.SPUDNUT wrote:clutterbuck22 wrote:Tomorrow I am going to work on a launching a new website for hockey. It will feature a blog, standings, rankings, recruits, highlights, and live scores for DIII hockey, DI hockey, junior college hockey, junior hockey, and high school hockey from the Cities and southern Minnnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. If you have any other ideas on how to make the website more unique or interesting, please let me know.
If you're more interested in covering Iowa and Wisconsin than all of Minnesota hockey, then I'm not interested - won't bother to even look at it.

Yeah. I'm going to do all different levels of hockey. I'm going to do player profiles as well. Track players and other things in season. I'm going to try and not make it cities biased like most hockey sites do. I set up a new twitter account for the site, it's @Midwest1Hockey.Playoff Beard wrote:With sites like HockeyHub and FollowThePuck around, is there a niche you're trying to fill that they haven't already?

Maturity? Okay, I'll bite.sachishi4 wrote:maturity is on the rise here if you cant even post the name of another site......just sayin'
Im only 20 years old, what do I know?!
When the other site posts garbage like "LUVERNE WINS DOUCHEBAGS OF THE WEEK FOR DEFEATING WORTHINGTON 16-0 ON THURSDAY. (Shirley was hotter anyway...)".
Is that the maturity you're thinking of here?
I don't call them "Lessers" for no reason.

Created twitter account to put in scores and stats. Midwest1hockey is the name. Created new features to site:
New Features:
Player of the season: You submit a player and I choose the one that is most entered via a poll on here, the website, or sent in by twitter.
Team of the season: Same as above.
Player of the week: I will choose a random player to follow for two weeks and give stats and any updates.
Teams of the week: Same as above.
