Totino-Grace at St. Thomas Academy | 2/1

Post by starmvp »

Totino had a nice win against Breck, but got shut-out by Edina. Game is tomorrow night at St. Thomas. Predictions?

Every once in a while. I might have to go to this game now that I have so much interest in it.

Their food isn't that good though; bring a snack or eat before.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll go out to eat with the parents of one of the teams. Any St. Thomas paints out there? Where are you all meeting before the game?

The 3 voters for TG should explain why they think TG will win...

"Totino-Grace is a good team, and for the first six or seven minutes they came out and took it to us," said Giles

I think a lot of posters on this thread under estimate TG and hopefully STA does not do the same. This is a big game for both teams, as it probably determines the section number one seed, as well as possible state tournament seeding implications for either team.

I have watched STA come out to take early leads, just to sit back and get complacent, allowing teams back into the game. At the same time I’ve watched them not come out early and play to their potential, waiting to the third period of hockey.

Pucks on net, screen, tip rebound, need 3-4 quality scoring chance each period….see if you can get 45 SOG

Sorry guys, yup I got ahead of myself. What I meant to say after reading my post was TG being the average talent vs. Benilde and STA with the higher caliber of talent. Benilde and STA have faced some top ranked teams and came away the winner or lost by 1 goal where as Totino has been shutout by top ranked teams in the past week by 6 goals (Edina, STA)

Ok, but what does Benilde have to do with any of this?
